Health, beauty, and movement are abundant in Julia’s brush strokes that are both cooperative and free-flowing. Branches curl to caress one another in a tangle of life, color, and energy. Both Julia’s jungle and the Moor run contrary to the manicured English gardens typical of the period, what Mary refers to as “a gardener’s garden”. Julia embellishes the canvas with authentic Indian fabric, that imbues the wet & green landscape with bright red blossoms.
